Real estate valuation analyst

The function of the analyst is to work jointly with the chartered appraiser in order to formulate an objective opinion on the value of a property or a real estate right on a given date and to offer various strategic advice arising from his analysis and its global vision. To this end, he will collect, analyze and interpret the appropriate documents and data to establish the rates and factors used for the valuation of properties of an agricultural, agri-food or other related field; compile, analyze and interpret various statistics in order to decide on real estate values.

  • Visit agricultural properties in different regions (Mainly Estrie, Montérégie, Laurentides, Lanaudière, Center-du-Québec)
  • Enter data concerning properties sold in the internal CAPREA database
  • Carry out extensive research and analysis on the properties to be valued using various tools such as: MATRIX, COLPLAN, JLR, land register, Marshall & Swift, Infosols
  • Open the mandate in the Caprea database
  • Study and analyze local market trends and the situation of properties to be valued, verify the price level of properties, buildings, equipment, quotas
  • Perform any other related task related to his area of ​​expertise


  • College diploma in building appraisal and appraisal technology or equivalent diploma in a field related to agriculture
  • Experience in a similar position (an asset)
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Good knowledge of various IT tools as well as databases including: Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, the land register, JLR, Colplan, Matrix, Marshall & Swift, Nominis, etc.
  • Excellent command of French and intermediate knowledge of English
  • Good knowledge in reading maps and cadastres
  • Have a car and a valid driver's license
