The function of the analyst is to work jointly with the chartered appraiser in order to formulate an objective opinion on the value of a property or a real estate right on a given date and to offer various strategic advice arising from his analysis and its overall vision. To this end, he (she) will collect, analyze and interpret the appropriate documents and data to establish the rates and factors used in the valuation of buildings; will compile, analyze and interpret various statistics in order to decide on real estate values. The analyst will also have to travel on the road to visit buildings subject to evaluation in the Quebec region.

MAIN DUTIES

• Perform data entry for buildings sold in the CAPREA internal database;
• Write service offers and request documents from the client;
• Open files;
• Carry out extensive research and analysis on the properties to be valued using various tools such as: MATRIX, COLPLAN, JLR, Land Registry, Marshall & Swift, Nominis, ZIPPLEX, CMHC, etc.;
• Open the mandate in the database;
• Study and analyze local market trends and the situation of the buildings to be valued, check the level of building prices and rents;
• Mail out reports;
• Mail out reports;
• Conduct building visits in the Quebec region;
• Perform any other related task related to his area of ​​expertise.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• College diploma in building estimation and evaluation technology;
• Experience in a similar position (an asset);
• Excellent computer skills;
• Good knowledge of various IT tools as well as databases including: Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, Land Registry, JLR, Colplan, Matrix, Marshall & Swift, Nominis, etc. ;
• Excellent command of French and intermediate knowledge of English;
• Good knowledge of reading plans and cadastres;
• Possess a valid driver's license;
